About the Event
We live in turbulent times and straight-forward, simple techniques to help keep us centered, strong, calm, and true to ourselves are needed. In this Succulent Sabbath, Kundalini Yoga teacher Emmy Graham will join us to discuss how deep, conscious breathing effects the body, mind, and overall health and well-being. She will also discuss the benefits and effects of yogic mantra, or primal sound, and meditation. During our time together, we will practice a breathing technique for perspective and emotional balance. We will also practice an ancient meditation that the Buddha gave to his disciples to tranquilize the mind.
Please dress comfortably and come prepared to do some short meditations. These can be practiced either sitting on a floor cushion or sitting in a chair.
